About Me:
In retirement after a career in engineering, I am evolving earlier interests to become a writer and a world co-creator.
As a writer, I have published four books: Performance Support Solutions (a technical systems design book), Why Are Gas Prices So High? (a saving the world novel), Making Products Obvious (a business fable about performance-centered systems design), and Life of Phi: Beauty and the Golden Ratio (a novel about the golden ratio and its contribution to beauty). Others are in progress. Next up will be Abandoned Shopping Carts, which will advocate our regaining a sense of personal responsibility in taking care of the world.
As a co-creator of the world along with God, I am synthesizing many influences and interests: the Rosicrucian teachings; spiritual alchemical work; the Jungian world view; modern Physics and cosmo-genesis; karmic self-responsibility and spiritual evolution; and others. My hope is that through my actions the world will become a better place.
A central ethic that I have is “Leave each campsite cleaner than you found it.” That maxim has become a guiding principle, to the point that my life is guided by that purpose. My writing is for that purpose. My aplied mysticism is for that purpose. My karmic view of preparing for my next life is for that purpose.
I am married with a lovely woman, Susan, and we have six grown children.
